The home's owners have now passed on and the home is available to you for a tour... an inside look of what life was like for prominent early 1900's Beaumont family. The home's beauty is breathtaking just walking up to it's front door. Of which, by the way, the front porch is open for you to bring a picnic anytime, anyday. A definite must-do. The inside furnishings are lavish, ornate and the kind you don't want to touch (can't if you wanted to anyway). 75 years of history fill this home.

Ok, enough with the teasing already! Where is this lavish mansion that I, you, and your sister can visit? Drive to 3rd & Calder Ave in Beaumont. That's where you start. Can you picture the home yet? It's the McFaddin-Ward House. That beautiful property filled with flowers, spralling oaks and mystery that you drive past and wish you could go in. Beaumontbuzz took a too-brief tour of the home last week and it is a MUST for Beaumont visitors and residents. Have a day off? Take an hour or two, visit the home, and then bring your lunch to eat outside on the grass. You truly feel like you are in another world when you step past the gates to this Beaumont treasure.
