It was a Friday night. Kirti and Rita Patel of Beaumont were looking for something to do. Sunburst Beauty Pageant had rolled into town so the Patels thought it would be fun to enter their two-year-old daughter, Madyson. Really just looking for something to do for the evening, the Patels had no idea what was in store for them.

Madyson won! She then competed in the Sunburst Beauty Pageant State Finals where she took home several awards including 1st Place Beauty Title Queen, 1st Place Supermodel Search, Top 10 Beauty Winner, 1st Place Best Smile, and 4th Runner Up Costume Wear. Madyson's pint-sized beauty is taking her all the way to Atlanta, Georgia in August for an international competition. Good Luck Madyson!

For Sunburst Beauty Pageants, the excitement and fun begins at the preliminary level. Preliminary pageants are held in cities all across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico from September to April each year. According to the company's website, over $1,000,000 in prizes are awarded each year.
