Arc Holiday Cards
The Arc of Greater Beaumont is pleased to announce their Holiday Greeting Card Project kickoff with six new beautiful card designs. The cards were designed by individuals receiving services from the Arc of Greater Beaumont. The artists include Clark Gernale, Wesley Hendricks, Brandi Herron, Jared Kelley, Brandon Pieternelle, and Brett Simpson. There are ten cards in a package and sell for only $10.
The Arc Holiday Greeting Card Project is more than a fundraiser, as it is a way for the members to express and share their creativity. During this first year of the card project, young individuals with disabilities designed cards during Summer Day Camps and other Arc functions. The members who participated have disabilities including autism, down syndrome, physical disabilities and developmental delays. Chairperson for the project is Patrice Rabalais.
The Arc of Greater Beaumont is a non-profit agency affiliated with The Arc of Texas and The Arc of the United States. The Arc is the oldest and largest volunteer organization whose sole mission is to promote inclusion of all children and adults with cognitive, intellectual, and developmental disabilities in every community. Current services of the Arc include the Adult Social Club, family recreation events, parent support and mentoring, information and referral, legislative advocacy, summer day camps, and quarterly newletters.
Cards can be purchased at DuPont Goodrich Federal Credit Unions, Fred Miller’s, The Kitchen Shop, Spindletop MHMR, Felicias’s Studio West, Region V Education Service Center, Junior League of Beaumont Main Street Market, and Longhorn Drive In.
