BABIES WANTED!

It's not what you think. We are not collecting babies. However, we are collecting things for babies. The gifts will benefit the moms at Beaumont's Hope Center for crisis pregnancy, where babies are wanted and lives are being saved. The Hope Center services about 100 moms per month (1300 total in 2006). Many moms that come to The Hope Center are considering abortion. Others are facing a welcomed pregnancy, but facing financial difficulties to get adequate care. And still others just need a little support.

"The Hope Center is a confidential pregnancy resource center dedicated to any women with problems related to pregnancy. All women, regardless of age, race, marital status, or religious belief are provided help. There is no qualifing for services."

beaumontbuzz.com is hosting our first community-wide baby shower to benefit the moms of The Hope Center. THC has a "boutique" that their moms can shop in with "dollars" made from attending parenting classes, going to school or church, reading educational books/magazines, etc. The boutique has everything for baby and mom including maternity clothes, baby food, magazines, diapers, bibs, toys, cribs, room decor and diaper bags.
