It's not what you think.

This is not an instructional note on how to cut your hair or drink  yourself silly. It is, however, the "how to" on our newest site feature- Buzz Boards!

For the not-so-internet-savvy, we thought you might need a little help on getting started. The Buzz Boards are the place YOU can get involved on beaumontbuzz. A Buzz Board is a message center of sorts. You can post questions, offer tips or just shoot the breeze with other buzz readers.

"What do I say?" If you are trying to figure out what messages to post, here are some ways you can use the buzz boards to your advantage:

• Trying to find a certain product in SETX? Ask for it on the buzz! Surely, someone in our community knows where you can find what you are looking for.
• Need help wording a party invitation? Ask for suggestions.
• Have a great tip? Share it!
• Arrange "meet-ups" for playdates, networking and making new friends.

The Buzz Boards are not:

• A place for talking smack about someone
• A place for talking smack about a business
• A place for indecent and inappropriate language
• *We reserve the right to remove any messages not deemed appropriate for this site.*

How do the Buzz Boards work?

• First, you must register in order to post messages. Click on "Buzz Boards" on the left of the screen. Once they pop up, hit "register." Fill out the form.
• Once you've been approved, you are able to post. To select a certain forum, just click on that forum. (i.e. to post a message on chit chat, click "chit chat." Pretty easy....)
• To post your message, just select "New topic."
• You have the ability to contact other people who post messages by replying for everyone to read or send a private reply directly to the person who posted the message.
• You can even pick your own message font and color. How fun is that? It's the little things in life that give us great pleasure.
