Girl's Night Out

Like to plan? Get in on the fun! If you have a great idea, whether it’s in your dreams or has been tried & true, let us know! Submit your party planning tips & ideas to goodtimes@beaumontbuzz.com.

Girls just wanna have fun! Isn’t this true? Sometimes we just don’t have enough. Women all too easily get caught up in things we “have to do”. We try to do it all, even if it’s for the greater good, but sometimes all we really need is a break with Da Girls!

What: Dinner-that-someone-else-made Night
When: A time when you are not at work
How: Order take-out from a Chinese restaurant. Meet at someone’s home (NOTE: Home does not have to pass the perfection inspection in order to have friends for a visit.) Change your scenery a little bit by sitting on the floor, Asian style, on big pillows instead of at the dinner table. In the middle of your make-shift floor seating, make a centerpiece of large candles & dim the lights. This should be a nice, relaxing break from your go-go-go lifestyles. When dinner is over, throw away your food containers (if you don’t use real plates, then no one ends up doing the dishes!), and break out the dessert. Perhaps have everyone bring a small sweet something. Then, try a little bit of it all. When you are done eating, you should be refreshed from reconnecting with your friends without much preparation! A little something extra… send everyone home with a small bag of fortune cookies!
