Shelley's Almost Certified!

Just a few short weeks ago, we told you about a new class in Beaumont for teaching babies to swim called Infant Swimming Resource. Shelley Duke, our local certified (almost) instructor, is working on getting us all lined up for classes. Here's what you need to know per Shelley:

My ISR certification is expected to be complete in the next couple of weeks.  I am finalizing plans with The Wellness Center in Beaumont to offer indoor lessons.  Classes will be Monday-Friday – 5 days per week - 10 minutes per lesson - for approximately 6 weeks.  My tentative start date is Monday, March 23, 2009.  (Students may begin on any Monday following this).  My tentative schedule is 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. daily.  A onetime registration fee of $105 goes directly to ISR.  My tentative lesson fees will be approx $90 per week.  Please send me 3 separate preferred times for your child’s lesson. (10 minute intervals - Ex: 12:00, 12:10, 12:20) as I am beginning to make my schedule.  Take into consideration your child’s eating and napping times.  Visit the national website at www.infantswim.com for more details.  If you have any questions please feel to contact me anytime.  I am currently building my website which will be www.beaumontswimbabies.com.  So please watch for updates and communication.  As the weather gets warmer I will be able to offer extended hours in an outdoor pool.
