Elementary English teacher. Mom. Wife. Shakespeare?

Catie Droptini of Beaumont has been writing poetry for as long as she can remember. While in high school, she attended a bridal shower and saw a unique gift that peaked her interest. The bride received an acrostic of her maiden name. Catie the Poet thought, "I can do that!" and so, she did.

Catie began making name acrostics for momentous occasions such as birthdays, wedding and baby showers. Her trademark gift became so popular that she has turned her talent into a successful business called "It's All in the Name... Custom Poetry Collection."

We've decided that giving towels and bed linens at a wedding shower are a thing of the past. The next bride in our lives will be given a memorable acrostic that she'll treasure forever. At baby showers, don't you always want to be the one with the cutest gift? Oh come on, We KNOW we're not the only ones that feel this way... How neat would it be to gift the mom-to-be with a framed poem of her baby's name?

Catie's daughter with her own poetic creation. With a little assistance from Mom, of course.

So, how does it work? Call Catie and tell her everything under the sun about the person you want the poetry created for. She'll then take your thoughts and sentiments and turn them into a custom poetic creation. Not only are the words beautiful, but so is the presentation. If you know the decor of the room the poem will be displayed in (i.e. a baby's bedding), tell her and she'll decorate the framed poetry to match.

We will try our hand at our own poetry magic. Ahem.

How can I get in touch with Catie?
