Keeping her baby snuggled close to her allowed her to breastfeed hands-free, keep baby content and maintain the schedule of her other children.

Amy may have found a “third arm” in her sling, but she now was faced with a new dilemma… finding a sling that matched her funky sense of style. She did what any “good” mom would do when she couldn’t find what she wanted. She made it herself! Wrap:: Wraps (sometimes called "wraparounds" or "wraparound slings") are lengths of fabric (usually between 2.5-7 yards long, and 15-30 inches wide), which are wrapped around both the baby and the wearer and then tied. There are many different carrying positions possible with a wrap, depending on the length of the fabric. Mei Tai:: Good for heavier babies (can carry upwards of 35 pounds) and for wearing baby on your back.

Ring Slings:: Allows for baby to be held in a variety of positions such as a cradle-hold, on hip, or out front on your chest.
