Gigi Loves Rudy

Do you ever find yourself doodling the name of the one you love? From "I heart Hubby" to seeing how many ways you can write your child's name, putting your heart's emotions into writing is one of life's most ancient ways to self-express.

Gigi Mazzola of Beaumont is doing her best to put what into words what her heart wants to say. Gigi is an avid world traveler and upon the birth of her son, Rudy, she felt inspired to compare her love for this baby boy to the great landmarks of this world. After 1 1/2 years, Gigi has completed this task into her first children's book, Love's Wonders.

Each landmark, from the Empire State Building to the Grand Canyon to the Taj Mahal, is illustrated in full color, and Gigi includes a glossary at the end of the book to help young readers learn more about these structures, traveling and the world.

Locally, Love's Wonders can be purchased at Texas Kid Co., Sans Souci, Belle Maman, Posh Baby, For Heaven's Sake & Bando's. Gigi will be at Bando's (215 N. 11th in Beaumont) on December 17 for a book signing. Time to be announced- stay tuned to beaumontbuzz.com for more details!
