Q: What's your favorite must-have makeup tool?

Grace: All you makeup fanatics out there, I’m here to say you GOTTA have brushes!! No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Makeup brushes are an investment, but they are an absolute necessity. If you don’t want to buy great brushes, then don’t buy good makeup. You will come to see that I am a MAC fanatic (they’re not paying me to say thisJ) and I HIGHLY recommend their brushes. Any brush you buy at MAC will be worth the money. The best time to buy, though is during the Christmas season. They come out with brush sets that are limited edition, and they go fast. This past season, one of the sets had 4 face brushes, including my fave the #187. This brush normally sells for $42. It also included a flat foundation brush ($32), an angled cheek brush, and a concealer brush. They all had travel size handles, but the heads were full-size. That whole set for $48!! Y’all, that’s amazing. Another great place to find brushes is, believe it or not, CVS. There’s a line of cosmetic accessories called Essence of Beauty. VERY high quality. And VERY cheap. My kinda stuff.
