Whether or not you are a trend-watcher, it is nice to stay somewhat on top of what’s in fashion and what’s not. Should you venture to the “what’s not…” just know that we warned you. We won’t love you any less if you don’t stay up with the latest trend, but you just might look cute if you do, so give it a try!

Sweet Stuff! Frills, ruffles & bows bring out the girl in you.

Vibrant hues (think cobolt blue) add just the right punch to any outfit.
   

Polka dots are everywhere! Watch for them on skirts, shirts & shoes. Don’t overdo it- just pick one piece to dot yourself with and run with it.

Who wears the pants in your family? Dresses are a hit this season. Wear them to work or play!
   

Fresh florals add a romantic vibe to your wardrobe, particularly if you like a sweet rosette.

   

Graphic designers are always cool. This season, it’s the graphic print that’s huge. Bold prints rule the runways.

   

The Olympics are coming early. Metals like gold, bronze, and silver added sparingly in your wardrobe will make you really shine.
   

Seems like this one keeps popping up- the trench coat. Not that we’ll need one in Southeast Texas, but just in case, at least you’ll know you look good if you wear one.

   

Finally, something a little more forgiving than the of-the-moment-skinny-pant… The Wide Leg Pant! Looks best paired with feminine tops & high heels.

   

Say it ain’t so, Sailor! Nautical stripes and seersucker fabrics will keep you cool this season, but don’t go overboard.
