Cute gear + Rain = It's ok to get wet!

It's amazing the joy a cute umbrella can bring. Sometimes we girls are just so silly, but hey, you get your kicks where you can. Our daily showers are here in full force. Life is tough enough already, so why throw a, "ugh! It's raining!" attitude in there, too? Wouldn't it be fun to think, "yeah! It's raining! Guess I'll just have to wear my new rainboots." Sure it would be.

Now, where to go all dressed up?

• Outside to jump in the puddles.
• Walk a shopping center. Window shop, or heck, go in! (2 suggestions: Four Corners, Phelan at Peyton in Bmt./ Boston Ave. in Nederland)
• Go out to lunch and actually walk ALL THE WAY from the parking lot instead of being dropped off at the door. You could strut your style by eating on Crockett Street in Beaumont (Spindletop, Rio Ria's are both yummy!)
